Hello i just read about your beautiful casey and yourself. You have raised the bar on being a parent. I,ve not read many stories that brought tears to my eyes, this one did. The fact that you are using your experience to help other families and to honor your daughter is amazing. It has notched up my love for my grandkids, and that my adult children were healthy, things we take for granted. There is for sure an angel named casey. Thank you very much for helping families with these experiences and memories that will last a lifetime.

I enjoyed reading your story and the amazing life full of life that Casey had. You sound like a wonderful family and I am sad to hear that this tragic event occured and that Casey passed on. But, it is beautiful to read how you turned all of those things into beauty and gifts. I know it is certainly early, but it sounds like you would make amazing foster or adoptive parents to medically fragile children who don't often get the love they need or deserve. Perhaps when you are ready, a door will open. Best of luck and lots of love to your family. Thanks for sharing your story.

Dear Marty and Tim, I have followed your beautiful daughter's story but only recently (within the last year) as I read a blog about Casey seen on one of sites I belong to. I'm so sorry for the loss of your incredibly amazing and courageous daughter. She was and will always be an inspiration to so many! I heard of Casey moving on to another world and I prayed that night and a few nights after and I have to tell you the vision that came into my head so clearly...I saw your daughter (as clear as day...the picture in my head must have been from the many pictures I saw of her on this blog) laughing and running in a field of wild flowers with other children. This vision came to me a few nights in a row and actually reduced me to tears every night it happened as it was so real and I don't know her or you personally so it was also strange for me. She looked so happy and carefree. I have only had one other similar vision of something like this and it was when my uncle (who I was very close to) passed away suddenly. The vision I had was also very real and I believed it to be a sign which calmed my soul and made me very content in knowing he was in a good and safe place. I hope this message may bring you some peace and I'm a firm believer that you will be with Casey again as a family and it will glorious. Again, I'm so very sorry but if God used me as a vessel to relay this information I'm honored and I hope it helps even if for a moment. The smile on her face was priceless. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of her journey. Sincerely, Kim

Hi Casey, I came across your story while doing some research while I was in nursing school, and have been checking into your blog for the last year or so. I am now a peds nurse and I meet beautiful children like you quite often. Seeing the life your mommy and daddy helped you live is inspiring. You influence the way I care for other kids just like you. You helped me understand the value in each and every life. Thank you so much Casey. Fly high with those sparkly angel wings!

Oh Marty and Tim, I'm so sorry to hear about Casey. Your love and strength has been an inspiration to me and many many others. I fully understand the process of grief. I hope you find comfort in the many lives Casey touched, in your love for one another and in the knowledge that while the body rejoins the Earth, the soul and spirit live on. (Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise!) Love to both of you. Naomi
